5 Questions to ask every wedding photographer.
- wedding planning
Photojournalism meets fine art. I equally love to capture both the soft, beautiful details as well as all of the honest, joy-filled candids that happen throughout a wedding day. I typically hang back and capture the events as they naturally unfold, while moving and staging a few things when needed. I'm not here to direct the show or make your day something it isn't. It's your wedding, and I'm just here to capture it all. However, when it comes time for bridal party photos and family portraits, I give plenty of direction and step in to take control, making this time easy, smooth, and full of fun.
I live in Portland, Oregon and travel all over the PNW for weddings. I am also happy and so excited to capture events all over the globe. There are no travel fees for venues in Portland, Salem, Tacoma, Seattle and the surrounding areas.
Yes, yes, yes! & yes again! You just let me know when and where and I will create a custom travel package just for you. The additional travel cost is usually no more than that of an heirloom wedding album.
Absolutely not! I make my time with clients as fun and carefree as I can, so you look & feel comfortable in all of your photos. This is exactly why I recommend an engagement session. It will help get rid of any pre-wedding photo jitters and show you just how easy the process really is with me before the big day! Plus, you will have amazing photos to use for your save-the-dates, or wedding guest book. I include an engagement session in every wedding package, free of charge for that very reason.
I would be so honored to photograph your wedding day! I start the process with a consultation phone call. I would love to hear all about your vision for your day. After our initial meeting where we go over all of the fun details, I will send you a proposal that includes a contract and invoice for your selected wedding package. There is a required 25% retainer required to hold your date.
Wedding packages start at $2,800. Elopements start at $1,500. Portraits range from $350-$500. Mini sessions are offered twice per year.
